
Jesse Macklin
Jesse was born and raised in Coon Rapids, MN. He enlisted into the Army Reserves during his junior year of high school and attended North Dakota State University before transitioning to Active Duty in 2016. After reclassifying to 13F (Fire Support Specialist), he
completed Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he volunteered for the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program. Following completion of Airborne School and RASP, Jesse was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. During his time with 3/75, he served as a Forward Observer in Delta
Company, a JTAC and Team Leader in Alpha Company, and later as the Fire Support Noncommissioned Officer of Bravo Company.
Jesse PCS’d to Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he is currently serving as an ROTC Instructor. During this assignment, he earned a degree in Organizational Leadership from UCWV and is currently pursuing an MBA. He is scheduled to transition out of the Army in June 2026.
